Heavy drone rule: operator training deadline extended to March 2027
Thailand's Ministry of Transport has amended the permit rules for drones over 25 kg, extending the transitional training period until 1 March 2027. Operators who completed training with a manufacturer or approved organisation between 1 September 2024 and that new date will have their qualifications recognised for registration purposes.
