Bangkok electric bus fleet to start arriving March 2027
The BMTA has begun production of 1,520 electric buses, with first deliveries by March 2027. The buses will replace aging non-AC buses on Bangkok routes, with fares expected around 15-25 baht. This long-term project will not affect expats' daily transport until at least 2027.
