Thailand electricity bills to rise sharply from September
The Energy Regulatory Commission plans to raise the fuel tariff nearly fivefold to 0.94 baht per kWh, pushing the average power tariff to between 4.20 and 4.73 baht per unit from September through December 2026. Public consultation runs until July 20; final rates are set by September.
