One Year On, Thai-Cambodia Border Still Closed
One year after the Thai-Cambodian border war erupted on July 24, 2025, the conflict has displaced hundreds of thousands, with 30,000 Cambodians still unable to return home. Border checkpoints remain shut, as Thailand insists Cambodia fully comply with the December ceasefire; sporadic incidents continue.
