Thailand links databases to enforce traffic fines from Aug 1
Starting Aug 1, unpaid traffic fines will prevent vehicle owners from receiving their annual tax disc. The measure applies only to new tickets and will be enforced via linked databases between police and transport authorities. Vehicle owners can check and pay outstanding fines at DLT offices during renewal.
