Koh Samui tap water rationed as drought deepens
A prolonged dry spell has cut clean water production on Koh Samui to about 40% of normal levels, forcing the Provincial Waterworks Authority to rotate tap water supply across zones. Authorities urge residents and businesses to conserve water and prepare for interruptions, while additional pipeline capacity and artificial rain operations are being pursued.
