Daily digital transfer limits set for minors in Thailand
The Bank of Thailand is introducing daily limits on digital transfers for minors aged 10-18, ranging from 3,000 to 10,000 baht per day, to combat the rise in mule accounts used by fraudsters. Banks and e-money providers must adopt the new limits by September and October 2026 respectively, and must offer channels to request higher limits.
