Thailand amends drone rules: transitional permits extended to March 2027
The Civil Aviation Authority of Thailand (CAAT) issued an amendment to drone regulations for remotely piloted aircraft under 25 kg. It extends the transitional period for existing registrants to apply for Specific Category permission until March 2027 and requires those without prior manufacturer training to complete a CAAT-approved course by July 6, 2028.
