Storm topples 40 power poles, cuts power and internet in Bangkok
A violent rainstorm felled about 40 power poles on Chalong Krung Road in Lat Krabang, Bangkok on Friday evening (26 June 2026), cutting power and internet to homes and businesses. At least two people were trapped in vehicles; rescue workers responded. The road is impassable and restoration is ongoing.
