Cancer Screening Centre to Open at Orange Line Station

Thailand's Mass Rapid Transit Authority (MRTA) has agreed to convert 1,287.75 sq m of space near the Orange Line's Wat Phra Sri Mahathat (cultural centre) station into a cancer prevention centre run by the National Cancer Institute. The centre, expected to open by end of 2027, will offer screening, risk assessment, and health education and aims to serve up to 60,000 people annually.
