Chao Phraya levels to rise as 7 provinces prepare
Royal Irrigation Office 12 has warned seven provinces along the Chao Phraya River to closely monitor water levels, as inflows hit 936 cubic metres per second and dam releases are expected to increase to 500-700 cubic metres per second. Downstream river levels could rise by 1 to 1.5 metres from Chai Nat into parts of Ayutthaya, though water is expected to remain within the riverbanks. Riverside communities are urged to stay alert, with a further warning planned if dam releases exceed 700 cubic metres per second.
