Thailand updates drone flight regulations and restricted border zones
Thailand's Civil Aviation Authority has issued updated drone rules, easing some restrictions but keeping recreational flights banned in specified districts near the Cambodian border. To fly a drone legally, operators must register with both CAAT and NBTC, request flight approval three days in advance, and email the police Anti-Drone Centre before taking off.
