Electronic display of VAT & business tax permits now allowed

The Thai Revenue Department now permits businesses to display VAT registration (ภ.พ.20) and specific business tax registration (ภ.ธ.20) electronically instead of physically. The display can be a photo or QR code, and must remain clear and visible for at least five seconds per permit. This rule applies from 7 September 2026.
