Flooding blocks Highway 401, evacuates tourists
Heavy rain caused flooding on Highway 401 in Surat Thani, blocking small vehicles and prompting authorities to evacuate tourists from Khlong Sok subdistrict. The highway section is temporarily closed; motorists are advised to use Highway 4118 as an alternative route to Phuket, Krabi, and Phang Nga.
