Flooding closes Highway 401, evacuates tourists
Heavy rain flooded Highway 401 in Surat Thani, making it impassable for small vehicles and prompting the evacuation of tourists from Khlong Sok. Authorities temporarily closed the affected section and advised motorists to use Highway 4118 as an alternative when heading to Phuket, Krabi, and Phang Nga.
