Rama VI Dam issues red flag warning for Pasak River flooding
Rama VI Dam has raised a red flag warning downstream communities along the Pasak River in three Ayutthaya districts as water levels are expected to rise by another 1 metre. Residents outside flood barriers have already been affected, and authorities may need to release water from the nearly-full Pasak Jolasid Dam within the next 1-2 days. Expats in vulnerable areas should prepare for flooding and move valuables to higher ground.
