Two foreigners caught at Suvarnabhumi with $1.7M hidden cash
Customs officers at Suvarnabhumi Airport detained two foreign passengers arriving from Jakarta after finding approximately 56 million baht (US$1.7 million) hidden in their luggage. The passengers are accused of violating Finance Ministry regulations on foreign-exchange controls and related laws. Customs reminded all travelers to comply with currency declaration rules and provided a hotline (1164) for further information.
