Heavy rain triggers flooding, rocks, mud in Phuket
Persistent rain in Phuket caused runoff that washed rocks and mud into communities and tourist venues in Kathu district early Monday. Damaged areas included Na Nai Nai 5 and 8 roads. Shelters opened as flooding also hit Muang and Thalang districts and other southern provinces.
