Phuket flash floods damage vehicles, close roads after overnight rain
Heavy rain coinciding with high tide early on October 26 caused flash floods in Patong, Kathu, and central Phuket. Water levels reached 20-30 cm, damaging parked cars and knocking over motorcycles. Several main roads in Patong were impassable for small vehicles, and mud remained after waters receded around 4am.
