Thailand launches 100 baht travel vouchers for residents
Thailand's Tourism Authority (TAT) will launch a 100 baht travel voucher scheme called '100 Baht Travel Across Thailand' for Thai nationals and foreigners living in Thailand, with sales starting December 15, 2026. Vouchers are sold via 'SHOCK DEALS' in eight rounds on Tuesdays through February 9, 2027, and can only be used for travel or services from Monday to Thursday. The scheme covers hotels, restaurants, attractions, activities, health and beauty services, and other tourism businesses.
What this means for you
- Foreign residents in Thailand can buy 100 baht vouchers for discounted travel and services from participating businesses.
- Vouchers are valid only for Monday-to-Thursday travel or services, and sales run on Tuesdays from December 15, 2026 to February 9, 2027.
- Check which services are covered and any additional conditions before purchasing; full buying instructions are not yet released.
