Thailand halves visa-free period, drops many countries
Thailand's cabinet halved the visa-free tourist stay from 60 to 30 days for 59 countries, dropped 34 countries from the scheme, and granted new privileges including a 30-day visa-free period for Indian tourists (replacing visa-on-arrival). The changes take effect 15 days after publication in the Royal Gazette.
