Free weekend trial for M6 Bang Pa-in–Pak Chong from 21 Aug 2026
Thailand's Department of Highways will open the M6 motorway section between Bang Pa-in and Pak Chong free of charge on weekends starting 21 August 2026, operating Fridays from 12:00 to Sundays at 24:00. The free trial continues through the New Year holidays in 2027, with a temporary entrance closure at Kilometre 65 on Mittraphap Road. Only four-wheel vehicles are allowed, with a speed limit of 80 km/h and no fuel or EV charging stations.
