LPG subsidy increased to keep cooking gas price unchanged
The Energy Ministry raised the LPG subsidy from 7.22 to 9.86 baht per kg to keep the retail price at 423 baht per 15-kg cylinder. The price cap will last until Oct 31, 2026, adding pressure to the state Oil Fuel Fund, which already has a deficit of 71.8 billion baht.
