13 foreigners arrested in Hua Hin nominee property crackdown
Thirteen foreigners (including Chinese, British, and others) were arrested Monday in Hua Hin for using Thai nominee shareholders to buy properties. The raid, part of a nationwide crackdown, involved 200 officers and warrants for 45 foreigners and 39 Thais. Authorities have seized corporate records and are expanding the investigation.
