Ezy Airline grounds northern flights over 40,000 baht airport fee

Ezy Airline has indefinitely suspended its planned flights from Chiang Mai to Pai and Mae Hong Son due to a 40,000 baht charge at Chiang Mai Airport that made the route unprofitable. Travelers now face a six-hour road trip with 762 bends instead of a 40-minute flight. No new start date has been announced.
