Flooding persists in Bangkok and 20 provinces across Thailand

The Department of Disaster Prevention and Mitigation reports continued flooding affecting 2.46 million people in Bangkok and 20 provinces, mostly in the Central Plains. Flood levels are declining in many areas but remain stable or rising in some. The Chao Phraya River discharge rate has been reduced to help lower downstream flood levels.
