Southern Thailand hospitals prepare for heavy rain flooding
The Public Health Ministry has set up a forward operations center for heavy rain in 37 districts of seven southern provinces. Hospitals in flood-prone areas have contingency plans from October 14-20, including backup power, fuel, clean water, oxygen, and communications, with emergency teams and shelters ready.
