Phuket launches electric airport-Rawai bus route
Phuket has added a new electric bus route, Route 8580, running 51 km between Phuket airport and Rawai beach. The air-conditioned buses offer 16 daily trips from 5.45am to 8pm, with fares from 40 to 120 baht and 25 stops. The route is the fifth on the island, operated by the Phuket Provincial Administration Organisation, which plans to extend it to Tha Chatchai checkpoint.
