Thailand Allows Rooftop Solar Power Sales to Grid
Householders in Thailand with rooftop solar systems can now apply to sell excess power to the Metropolitan Electricity Authority (MEA) or Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA). The rate is 2.20 baht per unit for 10 years, up to 5 kW per meter. Applications are submitted online through MEA or PEA websites.
