Thailand expands list of businesses exempt from foreigner license
A new ministerial regulation adds securities lending, derivatives, telecom (Category 1), treasury centers, shared administrative/HR/IT services, domestic guarantee services, leasing space for ATMs, and petroleum drilling to the list of businesses foreigners may operate without a Foreign Business License. The regulation takes effect upon publication in the Royal Gazette.
