Thailand relaxes drone restrictions effective June 26
CAAT Notice No. 16 relaxes special drone restrictions in most areas effective 26 June 2026, but drones remain prohibited in controlled districts of seven border provinces unless specifically approved. Visitors must register drones and operators with NBTC and CAAT, obtain insurance, and submit flight details at least three days in advance.
