DTV visa: new rules require criminal record and residence proof
Starting 31 August 2026, Destination Thailand Visa (DTV) applicants must provide a criminal record clearance certificate and proof of permanent residence, replacing the previous document showing current location. The e-Visa system will be down from 00:00 on 30 August until 00:00 on 31 August. Applications submitted before 31 August will be processed under the old rules.
