Tropical storm Maysak brings heavy rain to Thailand
Tropical storm Maysak, though centered over China and not entering Thailand, is forecast to cause heavy to very heavy rain in the North, upper Northeast, and East on Sunday and Monday, July 5-6. The Mekong River in Nakhon Phanom has risen 80 cm to 4.90 meters due to persistent rain. Small boats should avoid the upper Andaman Sea where waves may reach 2-3 meters.
