PEA imposes 300 baht fine for unauthorized power reconnection
The Provincial Electricity Authority (PEA) has published new rules effective immediately, establishing a fixed 300 baht penalty for residential and small-business customers who reconnect their electricity supply without authorization after a disconnection. Customers who do so may also be charged for lost electricity and other damages. This applies to rate types 1, 2, and 8 (excluding government entities).
